Pork Tenderloin Rubbed with Chili
Instructions
  1. Pre heat your oven to 400 degrees F
  2. in a shallow dish large enough to accommodate your tenderloin, combine 1 tbls. oil, garlic, chili powder, sesame seeds, & coarse ground salt & pepper to taste.
  3. Place your tenderloin in dish and rub mixture over the outside to coat it entirely, making sure to press the sesame seeds into the meat.
  4. Heat a grill pan over medium high heat and brush with a small amount of oil to prevent the meat from sticking. Add pork and cook until browned and grill marks appear (approximately 3-4 minutes per side)
  5. Remove grill pan from the stove top and place into the oven. Cook 17-20 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches a minimum of 160 degrees F.
  6. Transfer the pork tenderloin to a serving dish and let rest for 5 minutes before carving.
  7. cut into ½ inch slices (about 3 to 3 ½ ounces) and serve with pan juices!
  8. To make this pork on an outdoor grill it’s best to cook over a medium high heat and turn it every 5 minutes or so until grill marks appear on all sides. Then transfer to indirect heat until pork reaches at least 160 degrees.
