Just-The-Cheese-Crunchy-Baked-Cheese-White-Cheddar-740505442102One of the hardest things about a low-carb diet is undoubtedly snack time.

The desire for something crunchy, salty, and satisfying can take over and before you know it, you’re reaching for a bag of chips.

We recently discovered a client-recommended option, however, that’s both low-carb friendly and tasty (at least according to popular opinion among GreenLite staff!) 

Just the Cheese


Just the Cheese is the name of the product, and they’re basically crunchy, bite-sized discs of baked cheese – just cheese, as the name implies (plus other natural flavors, autolyzed yeast, maltodextrin from corn, and yeast extract).

The snacks are packaged in 1/2-ounce baggies, like a small bag of chips, and they come with only 1 gram of carbs per serving plus 5 grams of protein.

They’re also gluten-free and made with real Wisconsin cheese, according to the company’s website.

We only tried the Classic White Cheddar Cheese Flavor, but Just the Cheese also comes in flavors like Jalapeno, Crispy Cool Ranch, Crunchy Nacho, and Grilled Cheese, among other flavors.

(According to Amazon reviewers, the Grilled Cheese flavor is the least salty.)

A pack of 16 1/2-ounce bags is about $20 on Amazon.
