Have you ever experienced that time between lunch and
dinner where you need something light to munch on? Are you especially missing something that is salty and savoury? Picking a healthy snack to get you through this part of your day can sometimes be a challenge when you are not sure of your options.
Cruncha Ma-Me is freeze-dried edamame that is gluten-free,
vegan and non-GMO verified.
Our staff really enjoyed the flavor of Cruncha Ma-Me’s savoury sesame freeze-dried edamame. A few of us went and picked up bags for ourselves!
Cruncha Ma-Me has just the right amount of flavor to satisfy your hunger between meals without being too salty or overpowering in flavor. It also definitely lives up to it’s title when it comes to crunchiness.
Cruncha Ma-Me can be found both in stores and online. We recently picked up our bag of savoury sesame at Costco in Mountain View (keep in mind that different locations sometimes carry different products), but you can also find a variety of flavors by visiting Whole Foods, Amazon.com or by going to the Cruncha Ma-Me website.
We love that Cruncha Ma-Me has a lot of different flavors to choose from. We have only tried sauvory sesame, but they also have other choices that have the same nutritional value as the sauvory sesame that would be perfect to try out:
- Onion & Chive
- Sea Salt & Black Pepper
- Lightly Seasoned
An 8 pouch box of Cruncha Ma-Me (each pouch has 0.7oz of edamame) sells for $18.08 on their website, but they are currently being sold for $13.90 on their website and Amazon. We think the price of their 8 pouch boxes are a bit high for what you are getting in quantity. If you pick up a bag at Costco, it comes in a 7oz bag and is $9.99 which is a better deal.
Overall if you are looking for a great low carb snack option, Cruncha Ma-Me might be exactly what you are in search of. It is perfect for snacking between meals or as an on-the-go treat.
For those on the GreenLite Program planning to buy Cruncha Ma-Me, a serving size is 1/2 a cup which comes out to 1 unit of Protein and .5 units of Carbohydrates.
