There are always new ways to spice up a healthy weight-loss program.  If you are looking for a quick and easy way to mix things up, try some Korean flavors.  They add a kick to your homemade cuisine and also pack some notable health benefits.

Korean Hot Pepper Flakes: Unlike the coarse hot pepper flakes you find in most grocery stores, Korean hot pepper flakes have a fine consistency.  Interested in adding a kick to your next soup or stir-fry?  Give these a try.  Depending on how spicy you like your food, you can purchase mild or extra spicy Korean hot pepper flakes.  Like other chiles, hot pepper flakes have good health benefits.  Chiles like hot peppers contain antioxidants and carotenoids and may help burn calories.  This is a great pantry staple to have on hand for your healthy weight-loss program.
