Fremont, Calif. (April 28, 2014) – GreenLite Medicine, a medically supervised weight loss company with locations in Mountain View, San Jose and San Francisco, has opened its doors in Fremont. The new office is located at 3775 Beacon Ave., Suite 140, near the Fremont Plaza Shopping Center.
Offering programs that address long-term weight loss from a holistic perspective – using diet, lifestyle, and medical therapies to elicit change – the GreenLite program is one of the first of its kind in Fremont. Founded by Dr. Sooji Rugh, who is board certified in both obesity and internal medicine, the company has helped thousands of Bay Area individuals lose weight at their other locations.
“We’re excited to join the Fremont community and become part of the larger conversation about health and wellness in this area,” said Dr. Rugh. “What we’ve seen is that Fremont is moving toward more mindful, healthy living practices and with the opening of Whole Foods last year, we’ve noticed that the community is responding to learning more about general health, better quality nutrition, and related topics.”
GreenLite Medicine programs are based on real food – not supplements, shakes, or packaged products – long-term lifestyle changes, as well as one-on-one coaching with obesity experts and health educators. About 90 percent of clients reach their weight loss goals on the program.
Clients who are interested in booking an appointment at the Fremont location can receive special discounted pricing. Clinic hours are on Wednesdays from 7 a.m.-1p.m.
